Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: July 19, 2026

Our commitment

ComplianceCheq is committed to making our website and platform usable by people of all abilities. We believe accessibility is a continuous practice, not a one-time checklist, and we are actively working to remove barriers that prevent anyone from using our service.

Conformance target

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. While many parts of our site and application already meet this standard, we are still improving some areas and do not claim full compliance until we have completed independent verification.

Accessibility measures we have taken

The following features are built into the site to make it easier to use:

  • Accessibility widget: A floating control panel that lets you adjust text size, switch between normal/high-contrast/dark modes, pause animations, enable text-to-speech, use a dyslexia-friendly font, increase line and letter spacing, and highlight links.
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements can be reached and operated with a keyboard, including menus, buttons, forms, and dialogs.
  • ARIA labels and roles: Landmarks, labels, and live regions help assistive technologies describe what is on screen and what is changing.
  • Semantic HTML: Proper headings, lists, buttons, and form labels give the page a predictable structure for screen readers and other tools.
  • Focus indicators: Visible focus rings are shown when you navigate by keyboard, so you always know where you are.
  • Skip-to-content link: A "Skip to main content" link appears on every page so keyboard users can bypass repeated navigation.
  • Alt text on images: Meaningful images include descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.

Known limitations and ongoing work

We are aware that some areas may still present barriers. Our automated scanner cannot catch every accessibility issue, and some third-party or embedded content may not be fully accessible yet. We are continuing to improve keyboard flows, color contrast, and screen-reader support across the platform.

If you encounter an issue that is not covered here, please let us know so we can investigate and fix it.

How to report an accessibility barrier

We want to hear from you. If you have difficulty using any part of our site, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at support@compliancecheq.com.

Please include a brief description of the problem, the page or feature you were using, and the browser or assistive technology you were using when you encountered it. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

Technical specifications and tested environments

The site relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript for accessibility. We test in current versions of major browsers and with assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. We recommend using a current browser and assistive technology release for the best experience.

Review and updates

This statement is reviewed periodically and updated as we make improvements to the platform. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent review.
